It is almost universally agreed that the most important component of any studio or listening room is not an electrical component at all. If it's done right it doesn't need upgrading ever. It almost never ages at all. And it has more of an affect on what you hear than all your other components combine.

I began studying acoustics in 2000. Since then I have worked on countless home theaters, designed several recording studios, constructed one, analyzed others, and designed multi purpose acoustic treatment modules.
